Free “Porch-Traits”

Just after this CV-19 thing started, I noticed photographers around the country were doing “Porch-traits” – taking photos of people on their front porch from a distance using a zoom lens – and I said, why not do that for people in the North Hills of Pittsburgh! It will let me combine two things I love to do – take photos and help our friends that are having a tough time right now. It’s a little bit of fun and a way to document this time we are all spending more time at home:)

So here’s the deal.

  1. This is free. No charge. Yep, free.
  2. We set up a day/time when you and/or family are available for a few photographs of you in the front (side/back, your choice) of your house. I show up and using a zoom lens to keep my distance, take some photos of you, with pets, with and without masks, etc.. It typically takes only 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. In a few days, I will send you your photos via email or a link, so you can download your photos. That’s it.
  4. If you are lucky enough to a still have a job, I ask that you consider making a contribution to a local food back of your choice – www.pittsburghfoodbank.org and www.nhco.org (North Hills Community Outreach) – are two of my favorites.

If you are interested, send me an email (click here) or give me a call so we can set up a time. Thanks in advance for helping our friends in need.
